Heather Pickens is the woman behind Blue Thistle Cakery. She was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, where she began baking and cooking at a young age alongside her mother. Her passion for creating delicious and beautiful food blossomed with the encouragement of her four brothers who were the first taste testers of Heather's kitchen concoctions.

It's been over 17 years since Heather began making cakes, first for friends and family members, and now for a myriad of satisfied clients across the Midwest.
